I have a 2008 ZX200 and was wondering if anyone with a single console has installed the Sonic Hub from Lowrance? I'm going to be getting the HDS-10 gen2 and was thinking about replacing the in dash LMS-520 with a cover plate then mounting the Sonic Hub docking station there. If anyone has pics or thoughts on this I would appreciate it.
Sonic Hub 2 is discontinued; you may have problem with finding one. I was looking for my sonic hub 2 replacement for last 2 weeks and I was lucky.. I pick one at Cabela's today following Mark O'Neil post (thank you Mark)! I think it was still available there because it wasn't on the shelf..it is in PARTS DEP (As it is part)! No one knew what I was asking about! But I was persistent ...they fond it! I talked to Lowrance yesterday, and they don't know, when or what, going to be a substitute. Most of ppl i was talking to, advise me to go with different brand, like Fusion MS-RA70NSX with NMEA 2000 ...Similar cost.
with NMEA 2000 connectivity.
