Diameter of shaft of Humminbird 360 AS 360 TM

Can some one give me the diameter of the shaft of the AS 360 TM ?

Also, is the bracket that comes with it removable ?

It is not assembled in the box.

The pole diameter is about 1 1/8"

I'm thinking about rigging one of these up on a transom clamp trolling motor bracket.

My Endura 45 that I use on my pond boat has a shaft that measures 1.133 and I'm thinking about using one
of these brackets. Probably the same size shaft.


Another question if I may. What is the length of the shaft from the top of
the puck to where the wires exit ?

21" of exposed shaft.

Overall length including the pod is 26 1/2"

That's about 10 inches shorter than I need. Which is no problem as I can sleeve
the 360TM shaft with some PVC. I'll just have to find a more appropriate TM bracket.
Or fabricate one. I was just trying to not have to do that.

The Ultrex 360 shaft is longer, but I don't know what the length is.

After thinking about it a bit more I think what I need to do is use the clamp bracket
that comes with the AS360TM and clamp it to a longer shaft that fits the Endura transom bracket.
Basically I will set it up like a "faux trolling motor". But I'm going to check on the shaft length
on the Ultrex.

The clamp is designed to fit the upper non-rotating shaft of a Minnkota Fortrex and similar motors with that diameter.

I don't think any transom motor uses that large of a shaft.

I'll prolly will have to put a sleeve on the shaft at the attachment point.

I have a Motor Guide Tour trolling motor and its shaft is too small for the clamp. Transducer Shield and Saver makes a "sleeve" to adapt the clamp to it.

I scanned a couple of install videos for the 360 Ultrex version. It may be lens
distortion, but that shaft looks like it may make it. I emailed Humminbird for dimensions on it.

I've got mine on the transom in an endura tm transom bracket shaft of 360 fits in it just fine and hangs 6 inches below my transom. Short transom. However I am getting "noise" from my mega ducer. Hope humminbird does the si shutdown feature like the solix has. My tm is on a set back to clear the si ducer so I swapped the out problem solved.

The number series and Helix (don't know about the MEGA Helix) units turn off the 360 when you select a DI or SI view. SI/DI is turned off when the 360 view is selected.

With the SOLIX, you can choose disable or able the SI/DI when using the 360. Just choose 800 or MEGA so there is no cross-talk with 455 kHz 360.

I'm looking at using this on a livescanner, can get the sleeve to fit on my Xi5, but not sure if the livescanner will fit thru the hole in the bracket since it is 1.5"
