Finished install of Helix on Tracker pt 190 TX

I have been slowly adding my accessories to my new Tracker 190 TX. Over the weekend I finished my Helix 12si install. It came out nice. Still tweaking the transducer install hoping to get by without having to add a separate 2D skimmer for depth reading at speed. The really nice thing about this install is the unit can be easily turned to face stern or bow. I am close on the transducer. I was getting very clear SI/DI readings past 8mph and got decent reading on plane at 30mph. Began to loose bottom reading intermittently above 35mph.

Wow that looks big! Looks bigger than your whole dashboard but hey it's not going to stop me from getting one too.

It does look big but for 66 year old eyes its much easier to read than the HB999 I replaced.

That is the same RAM mount I used for both of the 12s I have. I'm happy so far with it and I love the swing arm feature. Good job on the install!

I have a 2021 Tracker 190 TXW with a stock Lowrance Hook Reveal 5". It uses a VESA 75 hole pattern. I am replacing it with a Helix 9 SI G4N. I did not want to drill new holes. I'm planning on using two of the Ram VESA 75 D size ball mount. One on top and one as a backer plate underneath. Then a short or medium extention to the Helix mount. I also custom ordered a spacer to mount underneath the VESA 75 mount for the wires so as to have a clean look. I'll post finished pictures of the install next month.

What do you guys think of this plan?
