Yeah mine is a 17'. Ive done a lot to it since I got it..
The motor that was on it was a White Johnson 115 but it was blown up so I had to find another motor. Rewired the entire boat, all new batteries, new seats, replaced just about every hose (livewell overflow hose popped off the first time I put it in and almost flooded the back end), some new gauges, new wheels and tires a few weeks ago..other minor things.
Turns out a guy named Richard Vance owned it long ago and in 1983 he qualified for the bassmaster classic, according to what I've read. Also found an article about him fishing with hank parker and roland martin! Thought that was pretty interesting!
I love these boats! Mine is an 81 so I can only imagine how much better some of the newer models are!

BassHawkMan, that's awesome! you are the holy grail for Bass-Hawk owners seeking information. finding sources about Bass-Hawks is difficult, and whatever is found can be questionable at times.
you are the most promising source of information out there. i, as well as many other Bass-Hawk owners, would truly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to collect all your knowledge and post it on this forum. this would enable Bass-Hawk owners to learn about their boat's history, characteristics, etc.
please set our boats' history straight thanks in advance!
Thank you basshawkman. You don't happen to have any of the old decals that came on the rear sides do you?

Gettin ready to replace the fenders and steps on the trailer. Man metal is high, so is fenders. Just have to find someone to weld them for me.
