    The cycle of fishing...KY Lake

    So it begins. Been fishing KY Lake since the middle 80's and realized a long time ago that I mark time by cycle of the annual drawdown and raise.

    is it meant to start with the beginning of summer or just a coincidence this year?

    I think the reason its falling currently is they are not turning much water loose upstream,their using more water to generate than is coming in from Pickwick(Pickwick is avg 14,500cfs released and Ky is avg 18000cfs) the actual drawdown doesnt start til July 1st unless something has changed...
