    Re: Nitro Set-Up's (GRR884)

    2010 Z7
    200 Pro XS
    25P Fury-stock
    21 p.s.i
    5400 rpm
    70.1 m.p.h.
    no jackplate
    3 3/4 below pad
    tourney load, 1 person
    full tank
    water temp 58 deg.-air temp 75 deg. winds 10 - 15 m.p.h.
    1/2 to 1 ft. chop

With 250# partner add 1.5 sec to hole shot and 2 m.p.h. less top speed
would like to get 300 more r.p.m.- can't justify a jackplate since I haven't found many doing any better.
-storing/balancing gear in boat works wonders on the chine walk.
can drive boat at full trim and wide open all day. No hot foot. If there is lots of boat traffic, have to trim down to cut waves.

    Re: Nitro Set-Up's (GRR884)

    2009 Nitro Z7
    2009 Mercury Optimax 150
    24p Tempest Plus
    5350 RPM @ WOT
    59-60 MPH GPS
    No Jack Plate
Second Row of Holes Down on Outboard Mounting Bracket
    Test Run - 1 Passenger
Fuel Level - Unknown, between 1/2 and 3/4 I guess

This boat seems to float around 60MPH gps all the time, loaded or unloaded. It makes very little difference wether it's just me, or me and a passenger. It is ALWAYS loaded with my gear, never ran it without my gear, so I am sure it will go faster. 60 is ok with me.
