I have fished in 3 different clubs with female members. Even had one of the females smoke us one time.
If I fished to live.....I'd starve to death!
Our club has had a few husband and wife teams over the years. Even had a female who was an officer in our club. Dont think any of us ever looked at them differently.
If the BBC Virginia Bass Club counts, my best friend, (BassnCop) and I are the only "all-girl" team in the VA Club. (Maybe in all the BBC clubs?) We are Team Law & Disorder. We won a BBC Rally tournament a few years back.
My club has 2 female members, Myself included, both of us are boaters
We have had one husband and wife team in our club's history but I do not think it would be a big deal if we had a female join. She would need thick skin as our meetings and weigh-ins can get a little "R" rated for language.
I fished the ABA Couples Tour a few years. It was fun.

Had one apply in a club I used to be in. The members entertained the thought, we invited her to a club meeting. We didn't realize how screwed up we were until we interviewed her. Not only did we run the club wrong, we found out we weren't able to fish either. She made the group so uneasy, we delayed the vote to another day instead of asking her to step away as we usually do.

As a friend of mine told her ex (before he became an ex) when he slapped her..."You might not want to go to sleep tonight." He didn't....so.....take heed!!!!
