Never really thought about it at all. Fishermen are just fishermen. Race, gender or status mean zero to me. I just go fishing and would fish with most anyone.

We have a couple in our clubs, and they are honestly the best members we have. I enjoy the tournaments more when I get to fish with them, it's a nice break from the norm.

I wouldn't really care as long as the new member did not expect us to alter our behavior (meaning we can still burp, fart, cuss and tell dirty jokes).
