    Thats very nice. Where did you get a loomis blank? Or was that a donor rod?

    that rod is one of Mikes old rods. Mike gave me 1/2 dozen of his old rods to use for parts or to restore. so i figured i would say thanks by making him a bullet rod. sanded painted and new guiges cleanded the handle up and it looks like new again. i still have two of his old blanks ready for reassembly. it's all fun stuff
