    RangerTrail Trailer electrical connector

I have a 2013 Z 518. My Ranger Trail trailer has a 5 pole flat connector that has 9 wires going into it. Yesterday while heading to the lake, the plug came lose and drug on the asphalt, which ruined the plug on the trailer end. I have searched the internet this morning trying to find a replacement plug, but I have yet to find one. The plug is made by Taylor, but I am thinking this might be made specifically for Ranger, and might not be available to the general pubic. Figured I am not the only one who has had this issue, so if any of you guys know where I can get a replacement harness I would appreciate the info. I figure I can use heat shrink buttsplices to splice it in. Thanks for any info.

Here are some items from eTrailer.com
Trailer Connectors Trailer End Connector 5 Flat Wiring | etrailer.com

Probably just as easy to call Ranger Parts to order one. Ranger Parts (800)724-7273. Make sure you have your trailer serial number. It is located on the certification plate near the trailer tongue.

Just called Ranger, by the way, the number is 800-724-7273 (not 7272). The electrical connector plug for my trailer (5 pin flat w/9 wires)is not sold as an individual plug, but as a whole replacement harness. The cost including shipping to my home was $35. Pretty sure it just plugs in.

Same thing happened to me. I ordered a 7-round plug with about 3 feet of cable and rewired it.
