    1992 Sprint 286 Deck Extension

Here are the pics of the deck extension and some with measurements. Sorry for the bad measurements but this was the easiest way I could figure out how to show it.

The front panel is attached to the top panel with screws that cannot be seen under the carpet. I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any other measurements or pictures. I will be happy to get them for you best I can. Also to mention it looks like it is all made from 1/8" alum.

I hope this helps and like I said if you need any other pics or measurements just let me know. Also keep in mind these measurements are with the carpet which I tried to allow a little for but I'm sure they are not 100% accurate so you might want to check your boat for measurements and allow some extra for carpet to wrap around edges. I can tell you that it does make the rod locker a little tougher to open when it is installed but as far as I am concerned it is well worth it for the extra deck space.

You are pretty close. I had already measured it to cut a piece of plywood for it. That adds a huge chunk of deck to the boat.

That looks real good, man. That added a ton of storage and deck space, which we all want more of. I like it.

do you cut this yourself? I am thinking of adding on to my front deck as well.

I did not build this. It is the factory deck extension. One of the people on the boards had asked me to take some detailed pictures so he could build one.

the only problem is it is not water proof and rain can get there , i put a piece of hard plastic with small legs so there would be some breathing room
