Oxford is about 15 miles east of Brookville. Couple hotels over there.
2 motels in Connersville bout 12 miles from lake one in liberty also
There are two motels in Connersville, but I don't know anything about them. Several motels in Richmond, on the east side, near I-70. That's probably your best bet as far as a place that's decent, unless the ones in Connersville are nice. Richmond puts you about 25 miles away from the lake. I drive down there once or twice a week.

Got a room at Woodbridge inn in Connersville. Was told it is nice and fairly reasonable.
