    Center Seat Mods

    Ive had this on my rig forever just never have posted it. Never have a 3rd person on the boat anymore and stepping on that center seat isnt exactly stable to me as I have almost eaten Sh*& in the past. So ditched that and used the existing hinge and used marine plywood and bondoed everything so it was smooth. Cut the grooves and painted it gray. Super sturdy and I think it looks more open.

    I have since refinished with textured paint on the step.

    Yeah I took the middle seat out of my tracker also. I can't stand people stepping on my seats.

    I deleted mine also, built a box and made a lid on the top. Nice to have a little extra storage. My factory seat was on there for about 2 months before i decided that sooner or later someone was going to fall..

    The step is definitely safer to walk on. Its amazing how much more stable it feels the first time you use it.

    Thanks! Easy mod really. Worst part was filling in the plywood and edges to make it smooth. I originally had rubber on the top that looked nice but the heat of the sun caused it to peel up so cut the grooves instead.
