Falcon Lake trip sucess and guide Jay Greishaw!!!!!!!!!!

Myself and Basscat13 just returned from a 10 day trip to Falcon. We went to Falcon this time alot later than we did in the past and did not really know what to expect. One thing for certain, we recieved the usual warm welcome from the Texas residents. Always a treat to make new friends in Texas. Back to fishing.
Me and Ben have never gotten a guide before. We also have never had to fish this open water type of fishing. So we decided to get a guide on this trip. As things worked out we hired Jay Greisham-AKA-"10 pounds or bust". We got alot more than we bargained for. Not only did Jay take us fishing, he taught us how to use our electronics for finding humps, drop offs, etc. He was very polite and a pure gentleman. Oh,BTW,he knows where the fish are at too!!! He got us into a whole bunch of fish. We caught more fish over 7lbs. than we ever have. We never broke the 10 mark this trip but we had the best trip of our lifes!! We can thank Jay for all that. The fishing on Falcon was at it's best and we had the lake to ourselves throughout the week. The accomidations at the state park were all we needed....And as usual,we ate swell:) Basscat13 will post the pics of our trip when he gets home tonight. We only took pics of 7's and above(except for Jays little monster,LOL) then we actually stopped with them after a while. A dream trip to say the least. At least for us Ohio boys. Yes,Jay fished with us at our request. He wanted to tie my break off back on for me and I refused. Thats the type of guide he is. He is no longer a guide to us,he's a friend. I'm sure there are several great guides on Falcon. I can only speak for Jay right now. For only guiding for a short period on this lake he knows where to fish. Clients throughout the rest of the week not only boated nice fish, they caught a 10-1 and a 12-7 as well.
Thank you Falcon for a great fishery. Thank you Texans for your fine hospitality. But most of all, thank you Jay for the best fishing of my life!!!!! Until next time my friend.

I came home from 100 degrees to mowing grass in snow flurries. Ugh!!!!!!!!!

    BTW- Catch and release folks!!!!
