Hi Don, can I get a cost estimate to perform the recommended annual maintenance? I have a 2011 225 optimax with 205 hours.

Currently, you would need to email the Service Department for pricing.

FYI Don. The blue text on spark plug doesn’t work

    Question
Winterization of mercury 250 pro xs optimax serial 2B362393. With the teaspoon of oil added to each spark plug opening....its mentioned to turn on engine and spin 2-3 times with plugs out. Was wondering if manually turning prop a few rotations is as effective?

No because it's extremely difficult to turn powerhead via the propeller (not to mention it's not particularly safe).

Use a 15/16" socket on the flywheel nut if you want to do this by hand.
