    We have a chart we look at for info on this stuff. What it shows is that SC titles boats and trailers and a UCC is filed for engines. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS AS THE FINAL ANSWER!!! To make sure, check with your state office or even a local boat dealer (in SC) would have the info you need. Fifty states and real close to 50 different rules on this stuff. Always better to be safe than sorry.

    Yes SC titles everything. You'll have the hull ID number and sticker to put on the cowling for the title number. This is how I remember it. Haven't been moved from there but a year and a half so don't think they changed anything.

    South carolina only titles boats and motors. You do not have to title the trailer.
