Try some PB Blaster and let it soak. Then try puller again.

Get some Kroil from Kano Labs. Spray it and let it soak for a little while should break it loose. Also get the shaft cold it will shrink and help in removing it. Hope this helps.

Did you try the pull on it while someone taps the shaft trick? Back almost all the way off the 3/4" nut. Put pressure by pulling on the top of the wheel and pull back with your knees. Have someone tap the nut with a hammer a few times. This have worked for me several times, only once did I have to get a puller. I believe there is some youtube vids on this.

Mine was so difficult that I drilled a half inch hole to get the wheel puller to get a good bite on the bottom of the wheel finally popped off! Hope that helps someone else. I tried every method I could find online before drilling. 1991 Stratos 201

A lot of guys are not using the puller correctly. Once you have it bolted on, put some tension on the center nut, then hit it with a heavy hammer 2 - 3 times, then a little more tension, and then hit it again. You should start feeling it moving when you put some more tension on each time.

That plus if you have to hit the shaft with a hammer leave the nut on loose, and put a good sized piece of brass on the shaft and hit the brass while pulling on the wheel.
