The Evansville Bass Masters had a tournament at Beshears on Sat-4/8/06. Air temp was in the 40's warming to the upper 50's by afternoon. Cloudy and misting rain early ,then changed to partly sunny by afternoon. Water temp was reported around 60-62 degrees. Winds 10-15 and gusting to 25 mph. We thought fishing would be tough since a fast moving cold front was moving through the area but several fish were caught with 4 limits. fish were primarly caught on jig/pig, spinnerbait and crankbaits. Winning weight was 5 fish at just over 23 lbs on white spinner baits. 2nd place was 5 fish at 19 1/2 lbs on jig and pig and Bandit crankbaits and 3rd place was 5 fish at 18+ lbs on black jig/pig. I dont have a total club weight but there were only 11 of us fished and I'm sure there was over 100 lbs of fished weighed in.Good Fishin', Paul
