Only kidding. Point is the lake has changed a lot in the last few years with all the grass. You almost have to re-educate yourself on different patterns. I'm fishing completely different then I did the last four years and this year is the best I've had.
Our club held quite a few evening tournamnets and it took 6-7 pounds to win a three and a half hour tourney more often than not. 19 pounds took the Relay for Life tournamnet with 18 in second.
Many evenings I had 8-10 pounds, it's just in the last few weeks that it really slowed down. All the above were caught on the main lake.
I don't know the river real well but know it better than a few years ago. I'll spend time fishing areas I comfortable with and watch the path others take to get up and down the river. I can run 8 miles or so now and intend to learn more this winter when the water is down.
