Why not do both? At different times of courseI'd like to fish Dardanelle some time as long as it's not 20 degrees like it was this morning

Well..............I'm for sure gonna try to make the Bull Shoals thing, but there's no reason we can't have a more local get together. Anybody got a date in mind???

As far as I'm concerned I can do it any time as long as its naturally not the same date as the Ranger Rally and not the last week of June first week or July. I am supposed to go to Colorado during that time period.

That can be some great fishing out on Dardanelle..........I think I am probably the most familiar with the lake, because I fish it all the time and it is about 5 minutes from my house
March would be fine with me. For those that have to work for a living, what about just picking a date in March and marking it on our calendars so they can schedule vacation or whatever. Us retirees don't need to schedule anything. We just load and go

I'd suggest since y'all are doing an all out Rally BT, then this thing should be handled like a mini Rally, maybe just a get together for those that want to on a Friday night to eat some food and maybe sip a few? and then have a small tourny on Sat morning? That way the working people wouldnt have to take off work and probably at worst get away with one nights lodging? I'm off every other Friday, so the 3rd, 17th and 31st are all the begining of 3 day weekends for me, but then again all my family lives up that way and I am usually up there about ever other weekend anyway, so the date really doesnt matter to me.
Just emailed Joe Murphy (bigmurph) in Dardanelle and he's also interested. Looks like he and I will fish together out of his rig to keep me from pulling mine from here to there. Now, if we can just set a date that's OK with everyone.
Doesn't the lake get a little crowded in early spring on a Saturday?
big tourneys usually start in april on dardanelle but if its a pretty weekend the lake will get crowded in a hurry lots of crappie dobbers

maybe we should put up a poll and give it a few weeks and see what we come up with?? Friday would be fine with me too but I bet we will have people that wont work too good for.
I think you will have a better response if you keep it on Sat. but I will be there either way. A lot of guys (like me) may want to come up early on Friday to get a look at the lake and learn their way around if they don't know it very well. That way they can just make it a long weekend. Just my two cents.
March 19th is the Arkansas Bass Assn. Governors Cup Tournament @ Dardanelle,,,,,,Will have banquet Sat. nite (18th) and tournament the 19th,,,,,,good time maybe for a mini rallye,,,,then stay over and fish the ABA Gov. Cup,,,,,,,,,,,,COOL,,,,,,,,D.
