Soft plastic color recipe thread as a sticky?

Is this a good idea? We can add our recipes to it. I have a lot of recipes on hand and would share them.

    Scuppernong Recipe

    6 oz. plastic
    12 drops LC amber
    6 drops LC red
    4 drops LC jet black

    Red Bug

Try this one!!! Probably is an easier way to do it but this is what I came up with...

8oz 12 drops strawberry red (LC), 8 drops maroon (M-F), 4 drops bright red (LC), 6 drops tomato (LC), 4 drops black grape, 4 drops amber brown (LC) flake: medium green (dash + pinch), pinch small green

    Texas Craw
Texas craw, though I call it Texas dirt. And yes it works. Here it is.

4oz plastic, 25 drops bears pumpkin, 5 drops bears black, dashes of .040 hex green, copper, gold, and orange glit.

    Sprayed Grass

    R.I. Sprayed Grass
    2oz plastic each color
1/2 tblspn fine salt each color
    dark color
    2 dps LC blk
    2 dps LC pumpkinseed
    med- purple flake
    light color
    8 dps MF amber grn
    2 dps LC grn pump
    sml- grn/blue flake

Another sprayed grass recipe: One side is a mix between green pumpkin and watermelon with tiny blue and green flake. The other side is a brownish green with purple flake.

    Zoom's green pumpkin blue flake

    1 cup plastic
    2 ML Bear's Green Pumpkin
1/2 ML Bear's Scuppernog (these 2 are my GP Recipe)
    MF small Navy Blue Flake
    Regular Black Flake
Be careful with the blue Flake. Cook too long and it turns green.

    Mardi Gras
WATERMELON WITH 015 GOLD AND 040 BLACK GREEN AND PURPLE

    Zoom Red Bug

40 drops Bear's Candy Apple Red and a 5 drops Bear's Red Shad Red per 8 oz.
    Kelly green flake

    California 420

Very dark watermelon with .040 red flake top, and normal watermelon with .015 red flake bottom.

    Dirty Sanchez
grn pmp with some brn mixed in for the brown color and then some dark melon and kudzu to get your watermelon.

    Zoom Albino
Top: 4oz 30 Smoke Pearl Blue (M-F), knife of black
    Bottom: 4oz 15 iradescent pearl (M-F), 1 smoke pearl blue (M-F), 2 silver pearl (M-F), knife of black x 2

When I say "knife" of black, I mean get a little on your butter knife to add. Just need less than a drop but just a little black to get the color amped up

    single color morning dawn:
    3 oz. plastic
    1 drop marine blue
    2 drops red hot red
    1/2 smidge blue hi-lites

This was one of my best sellers for clear water. Really simple color but really effective. I called it Oxblood Passion.
    1/2 cup plastic
    5 drops oxblood
    smidge of blue hi-lite
    small amount black flake.

    Big Texan

Big Texan, similar to Zoom, but I used fine red flake for the black and the orange is a little heavier like RI's.

    Top

    8oz Plastisol
    ? softner (to taste)
2 tablespoons of powdered salt (to taste)
    30 drops of Lurecraft Black
    1/2 teaspoon fine red flake

    Bottom
    8oz Plastisol
    ? softner (to taste)
2 tablespoons of powdered salt (to taste)
    4 drops Lurecraft Orange
    1/4 teaspoon medium black flake
    1/4 teaspoon medium green flake
    1/4 teaspoon medium orange flake

Gents, ty for some good recipes. Doc, great idea on sharing recipes. Igor, nice looking baits you posted. I am just started learning to pour, still playing with colors and amounts of plastic/coloring to use.

    morning dawn: single color
    3 oz. plastic
    1 drop marine blue
    2 drops red hot red
    1/2 smidge blue hi-lites

the real morning dawn color is a 3 color pour, there is a little chart in there. It depends whose bait you look at, but a glance at Robo worm or Magic Worms is likely as authentic as it gets. But they do vary a little......Pink is the base color, chart is added to the head or tail and generally you have either a clear belly or a light violet....pearl....I'm going to say that is someones variation but not the way it was originally poured.
