Good numbers of fish too. Lake is 10 hp restricted.

Nice lake. Like it better than Briery due to the fact you have options on whether to fish in the trees or in open water. One end has numerous trees, just like Briery Creek, and the other end is treeless. Get a map and fish the old road beds. Plenty of big bass.

Went there a couple of years back and loved it.....Planning to go back this fall.....Lauched and starting fishing all the points and we slammed em.....I liked it better than Briery Creek myself.....You will not be disappointed.....I took my jon boat (10hp max)....I started with the point directly across from the ramp and just went from point to point.....Crank those points......Lots of rock and stumps out 10-15 yards off the points....Good luck!

I have not been in a long time…. Back when it was new. A buddy has fished it over the years and always said the drive from Richmond is worth it. Just fish your strengths and look for structure like rock s and breaks.

Call the DGIF Farmville office and ask for Hunter. He manages that lake and can tell you what's happening. His number is 434 392 3469.
