I know I need an out of state fishing license but do I get it for Ga.,are Al. I have heard I may need a boating course. Do the states recognize each others license, my buddy lives in Atlanta area now and insists I come down to visit. Thanks for any info

Have to have the boater's course. Law went into effect 10/2024. They are generating a lot of revenue on that right now if you catch my drift. I always have both licenses, so I'm not sure on the reciprocity.
