Im using an old 10 pin connecter remote shutter that I used a long time ago with the D100 and other nikon DSLRs. Im looking at the WR-R11a remote controller. I have the the WR-T10 controller. Anyone use this product on the D500. BH photo says it's compatible.

Not that specific one, but if B&H said it is compatible I would not argue with them. They have been great throughout my foray into photography and astrophotography. Very knowledgeable people.

I totally agree about B&H. The majority of my equipment is from their store. I bought the comparable receiver WR-T10a for the controller . Once paired they work great. Now time to take them to the field to see how far i can be from the camera. Going to try them tomorrow to see if they communicate through my basement window.
