according to my dealer, the gel coat on a new ranger has a 1 yr warranty? I assumed if the hull had a lifetime on it to original owner that must include gel issues but no? mine was at the dealership on/off for most of it first 9 months with gel issues and still has some gel issues?
the little rubber mats on the trailer steps that come loose all the time are warrantied for 3 yrs?

Well thats not making any sense at all last time i checked the owners manual stated on most bass boats limited lifetime warranty on hull excluding cracking crazing and fading and blistering and 3 years on most components and trailers Ranger should stand up and take care of you on the issues your boat has, i know for a fact before the buy out they would have not batted an eye at this issue because they dont want new boats running around looking bad as an example of a companies quality. If Forrest Wood and Nina Wood still were in charge things would be very different but i havent bought anything in 10 yrs my boat is a 2014 z521cOriginally Posted by mactlman

I am sure that White River Marine has an in-house attorney in their warranty department that can answer your question for you. They are sticklers for adhering to the letter of their warranty .
That’s always my outlook^. Read the warranty statement carefully; it will tell you what is included and what is excluded.
1 year is all they offer on gelcoat. My boat has alot of cracks on it, just over 1.5 years old when I took it to dealer. All gelcoat repairs were denied.
Mine were denied also.
That would piss me off. I thought stress cracks were covered for 5 yrs.
