Anyone crappie fish shangchris lately? Will be returning from Florida next Sunday and need a fishing fix. Decatur and Shelbyville are frozen of course. I’m going to go, good or bad, just wondered how the bite was. I did very good at Clinton just before I headed south but it was getting crazy crowded for my tastes.

I have a friend that lives in the area and he was there on one of the freezing cold days and he caught a lot of big crappie that he sent me to see. He was open water fishing with livescope looking for crappie chasing shad. He also caught a bunch of bass doing the same thing.
