2009 294XLE Garmin GT54 Transducer transom mount location

I have swapped my electronics from Humminbird to Garmin. I am trying to decide where to mount my GT54 UHD transducer on the transom. The back of my Stratos 294XLE has 3 steps on it so I don't know where is the best location to mount it. Can anyone post a picture of where they successfully mounted it so that it works while the boat is on plane and has good side imaging performance?

I don't have that transducer but I mounted my Lowrance transducer on the side of my jackplate with a Transducer Saver Shield mount. It works great and you don't need to drill any holes in the transom.
