Hey guys I just wanted to see if there's anyone here who's familiar with the Amherst OH area? I'm vacationing there this coming May, with an old Air Force buddy of mine, & we're going to be fishing for bass. Where's a good bass lake close to Amherst?
Not from the area but Erie is right there. If largemouth is what u want the Black River is close but i would fish Cleveland and go out of Edgewater for numbers of largemouth and some smallmouth.

Vermillon River is right there. Lots caught off the rocks. There is a shipwreck on the left as you come out of the river that holds fish as well.

ruggles reef is out of vermillion also I believe for a great small mouth area
