    Onboard Charger

Cheapest and smallest onboard charger I can get for my 31AGM cranking battery? Prefer it can also charge lithium in case I swap out down road.

How many batteries are you trying to charge at one time? If it is 3 trollers and a cranking this is a good option.

I have my trolling batteries on a 2 bank charger. I also have a dedicated lithium battery for electronics on a charger. Looking to put in a small single bank for my AGM cranking battery.

I wouldn’t go less than 10 amps for a group 31 AGM. So something like this one.

this will work on your AGM and will be a great Lithium charger when you switch

15amp runs cool, built solid and water proof

I bought a NOCO GEN2 for $20 a couple months ago. It has a lithium setting. Same features as the NOCOGENPRO 3x10 in my boat.

yeh. It’s a 2amp. lol. But it is about 3”x1/1/2”x4”. About the size of a pack of smokes.

    …./you said small!!

Why have 2 chargers, just get a programmable for all 3 !! I wouldn't go less that 10amps per bank.

If everything else is on their own charger, wouldn’t the big motor alternator keep it mostly charged, with occasional “garage” charger you probably have already? I could be wrong?

This is what I do now. Just thinking quicker to plug in a charger. I agree the battery is likely good though with running motor enough.

absolutely will not, especially on an optimax. call andy at drewtech (above) and discuss your options for a 10 amp to charge all your batteries. he will steer you straight, I refer all my customers to him battery and charger needs

cannot go wrong with a NOCO, good product and good warranty
    Thank You Leon Pugh
