I lost track of the draw downs on Nimrod and Maumelle and would appreciate an update.
Nimrod: Did they draw it down to do repair work on the Dam? How low did it go? When is it scheduled to be back at full pool?
Maumelle: Why the drawdown? When will it be back at full pool?

No clue on Nimrod but I can help with Maumelle. They draw the lake down every year to kill the grass. Water department says the grass clogs their filters. I'll keep my strong feelings about that situation to myself because strong language is usually involved when I talk about it and what I've seen and smelled while out there after the annual fish kill backs up my claimsIt should start coming back up sometime in March with rain. Game and fish is going to build a new ramp and parking lot next month and launching will be free after that from what I've been told. As for access it's still doable but be careful. And it might be an adventure getting your boat on the trailer straight. There's a ramp off to the side that is usable if the main ramp is no longer accessible but you better have 4x4 because it drops off where brute force is your only option getting back up on the concrete. At least that's how it was about 14 years ago.

Maumel center ramp the concrete has broken away from the rebar. Maumel ramps are just p!ss poor.
Their ramps definitely suck.
I told the guy in the store last week the ramps there have sucked for as long as I've been alive (over 40 years).

Anyone know why Jolly Rogers moved from the old location. Just looking at the old ramp from the water it looks pretty good and lot’s of parking.

I'm sure a lot of it had to do with the proximity to Sailboat Cove but could be wrong there. Next time I see Caroline I'll ask her since if anyone would know it's her. Just talked to her this morning at the ramp matter of fact.

Nimrod has been back above normal for the last several weeks but they just shut the water off at normal winter pool a day or two ago.
