Looking for ideas or links to seal deck hatches. Some have a raised lip around the opening and some do not. What can be be done to those that do not have the lip? Also, one hatch in the front deck has no "gutter" or seal. Any water that runs into the edge goes into the compartment. Any links or help is appreciated.
Still looking for ideas. So far I've got nothing beyond forming a "lip seal" and drilling a drain hole to the face of the forward deck. Anybody???

can you put something like this on the deck and let the lid come down and seal it up? or reverse that?

Yes, I think that may seal the hatch lid to the deck, but the lid is flush mount with no where for the water to go. With that weather stripping, the water would/should stay out of the compartment until the lid is opened. At that point the water standing around the lid would flow into the compartment.
