recommendations for a place to stay and play in FOrida next spring!
Looking for a place or places for 4 of us to stay and play in Florida for 4 or 5 days. Don't really have a budget yet. What say you guys/gals who travel to the sunshine state for some Florida golf?

I just just got back from Destin Fl and stayed at Sandestin Golf and Beach resort. It is like a gated community with 4 golf courses, shops and bars at night, and marinas for beach stuff. I didnt take my clubs, but it was an impressive little area. Lots of shopping for the women, with the BIGGEST OUTLETS I have ever seen. The courses were in immaculate condition. Course rates ranged from 80-165 per round and that was cart and range included. We stayed at the Pilot house resort and it was 500 feet from bars that stayed open until 2 A.M. So we went and did daily things, back to the room by 9ish and went drinking and stumbling home every night. It was quite a vacation and the whole time I was there, i was kicking myself for not brining my clubs along.
