Crankin, jerkbaiting, and top water. Had a triple on a jerkbait but 1 came off before I got the net under them.

Yes, back to back casts along a weed line. 2 casts, 4 largemouth all 1.5 lbs each on a Wiggle wart. Just fun fishing that day.

Fishing a grub along an outside weed edge and caught a 2 lb. smallie. While fighting the smallie a 14 lb. musky decided he needed a snack. managed to get both into the net and released both. Sure gave me quite a start with fighting the smallie and then my drag going crazy as the musky peeled away for a few seconds. Have had this happen a couple of times.

One of my best memories of fishing with my grandfather was catching a double with him in the boat. He was in awe and had never even thought of such a thing being possible. Had 2 other doubles on that day as well including 1 of those being 2 4lbrs but 1 got off. Far and away the single best day of fishing I've ever had. Ended up catching over 150 fish off of 1 spot with my BIL. Crappie were pinned up against a rock jetty and the bass were going nuts gorging themselves on them.

Yes, I fished for muskies for more than 10 years and I have never even seen two follow a lure at the same time. Have you ?

Yes I have, on several occasions.

On two different occasions my partner and I have had five muskies follow at the same time. Me, three, and him, two, or vice versa.

One time we had six different muskies at the boat at the same time following lures. That time we didn’t see all six simultaneously, but they just kept coming from everywhere as we did figure 8s.

Typically it happens late spring/early summer when a couple of females that haven’t spawned completely are in the same area. Several males will be hanging close, looking for an opportunity and creating a unique situation.

I’ve never hooked two, but one time I was fighting a 34” fish, and a 46” fish tried to eat it as I got it boatside. Caught the 46” about a half hour later as I looped the reef and got back to where I caught the little one.

Found a hot spot a couple of years ago that I would catch multiple doubles on a 6 xd everytime I fished it. Usually 2-3 lb spotted bass. I probably caught 15 doubles off that spot overall lol.
