    Best option

I currently have a 106 and a 32 trans on boat. Wanting to upgrade to the 34 and go bigger with unit. Will be use strictly for livescope. What unit is recommended in a 12 or maybe even the 16 if affordable? Thanks

Top line basic 16" (no sonar, base mapping): https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/624843/pn/010-02093-00

Affordable basic 16" (no sonar, base mapping): https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/1240669/pn/010-02919-00

Top of line basic 12" (no sonar, base mapping): https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/624869/pn/010-02092-00

Affordable basic 12" (no sonar, base mapping): https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/697243/pn/010-02367-00

    Next model down 12": https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/1145029/pn/010-02881-00

Keep in mind, if you ever want to add sonar, these unit can no take a sonar ducer, it's a different model, also if you want to add mapping you would need to get a mapping card.

Jeremy layed it out pretty well.
Those are what I would suggest also.
But again, as he said if you ever want to add sonar these will not work.
Shoot me a message and we can set you up.

Man, I sure wished this website had a search bar…let alone members who would actually use it… Seriously though… this has been covered many times. That above will answer your questions.

And man I wish smart asses with no input would just move on. Maybe I didn’t want to read through countless post to get the very informative answer that fishin couillon provided me.

Guess you haven’t learned much around here either looks like. Upper right corner has a “search forum” link where you can do what you’re wishing for each forum page.

Bass pro shops has the older 126 ultra for $1500. Hard to pass up that deal, if you don’t have to have the latest & greatest.

Maybe…. Just maybe, do a little research or at the very leasts give some useful information to your question. We have no idea of your budget when you say “affordable”. This is just the lazy way out, having someone else do the searching for you. You have a 106.. common sense would tell you…126SV is the answer.

i guarantee if you would’ve searched, you would’ve found the exact same answer lol.
