    FFS and finding fish

So how are these FFS guys finding fish? do they drive around with side scan till they see something and then turn around and use FFS or do they just put the FFS in the water in a likely known area and scan around till the see something? Its not easy to see bass when they arent grouped up using side scan so wondering how its done.

I heard the fish just jump out in front of the “spotlight” and then proceed to wait for you to throw a bait to them. It’s ok if you miss, the fish will gladly swim any length of distance to find your bait!

Pretty sure Randy and the Lockmaster are providing location info!
If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

Mapping is a good place to start.

I took it he was just looking for some info. Not bashing FFS.

Same way they found fish before ffs. Mapping, SI, and DI. Find potential areas on the map, scan them and find the fish, drop the tm and target them using FFS.

Guy asks a legitimate question I thought. Bigger question is why did you click on the thread and then read and respond to it if you feel this way?

Go to likely places that would hold fish. Turn on the FFS and scan around for some time. If you can't locate fish in a couple hours, go to a new spot and repeat. I have been at this for four years and just now starting to know which fish are more likely to be bass, but not an easy task.

The open water finds have to be a boring task and I assume random so would involve a lot of luck?

Talk about people getting "triggered". This was a genuine and somewhat technical fishing question about methods of finding fish with a certain tech- and certain people's heads explode like the aliens from "Mars Attacks".

I'm fairly new at it but have had some success idling around with side scan looking for bait and then put down the FFS and fish around the bait.

Ok, real answer. Some of the open water scopers have mentioned having to travel up to 10 miles in a day. Drop the TM, turn left/right and move forward.
