    Oil Change Question

I have a 2021 60 HP CT that I want to do an oil change on instead of taking to a service center, but want to make sure I order the correct supplies/kit. Does it matter if I use the Mercury Oil or Quicksilver? Also would the correct weight be 25w40? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am out of town right now so can't check the engine sticker or manual right now.

25/40 is correct. There are kits available, 55 to 60 bucks. I'd call Rhonda at European marine.

Mercury and Quicksilver are both Mercury products, same oil, different label.

You may also want to look at 10w30, depending on what portions of the season you use your engine in. Pretty much if you'll use the engine at temps below 40F it's probably a good candidate for the 10w30 Synthetic Blend.
