Anybody able to tell me what this is? I thought it had something to do with a older graph that was left on the boat. Tried following the cable back but i lost it in the abyss. It was located right above a tranducer to an old helix 5.

looks like a temp probe.

Is it a tube or a cable?
If it is a tube, it was used for a speedometer pickup.
If it is a cable, my guess would be an transducer cable they were too lazy to remove.

It is a cable. I assumed for an older graph. Installing a new transducer so trying to clean up.some of the old wiring from previous owners
