    Swapping Unit Between Boats

Looking to purchase 1 head unit (most likely 8612) and have an LVS34 on the bass boat and a cheaper used 32 on the aluminum. Is this feasible? Or would settings need to be adjusted, updates not work, etc?
    Thanks

The good thing is you can save your settings on the unit for each LVS and when you swap boats, you can change to the setting for that LVS....shouldn't be any issue with updates unless one is lagging way behind....

I do it. My second boat is a Triton 175 Sport aluminum that I use for some ABA tourneys and river fishing. I bought 2 cradles so I can just swap my 126sv units over.

Did the same for my tin boat. Works great and saved some money. I think the cradles were only like $70
