    Flo-Torq II Hub Question-Bushing

I have a 150 pro xs 4 stroke with a Fury 23p prop. For prop assembly, do I need the extra forward bushing that comes in some of the Mercury Flo Torq 2 hub kits or would I need the kit without this part? The conical shaped bushing I am referring to is Mercury part #856163Q1.

You DO need the conical bushing. For future reference, your engine is a 4-stroke, which goes in the 4-stroke forum.

Thanks for confirming this! I’ve got it installed with the bushing. There is no play at all in the prop (front to back). On prior props installs I have noticed maybe 1/8” or 2mm of play. Is this to be expected to not have any play with this hub kit and prop configuration?

There should be NO play between the propeller and propshaft with this FT-II (and filler sleeve) configuration.
