    Daiwa Steez and Megabass IP68

Up for grabs are a few reels that aren’t getting the use they should. Both are right hand retrieve. See pics for condition. Both have a few light marks on them but nothing too bad.

Reel 1 - Daiwa Steez SHA 7:1- has spool from the Steez 103 with R+ inductor. Has a cast control cap from a TDZ Type R+. The handle is a 80mm swept all black handle with black I shape knobs. Has box and papers. Recently serviced and ready to fish. Price is $205 shipped.

Reel 2 - Megabsss IP 68. 6:8 ratio. Has the line guide swapped out for a gold one to match the reels gold accents and looks better that way. Reel is stock otherwise. Reel is very smooth and free. Can’t recall the last time it had a deep cleaning so it could likely use one. Comes with box and papers from a LH model as that is what I received when I got it second hand. price is $335 shipped.

Absolutely, unfortunately the reel has been paid for. Thanks for the interest though!

    Steez sold and shipped!

Megabass IP remains. Great reel based off the OG Zillion variants. Megabass will likely never produce reels again so a chance to own some classic Megabass history.

How does it compare to the Steez?
Love my Steez reels and figured to stick with them but always open to something better.

The Steez is lighter in weight. The farme is magnesium vs aluminum of the Megabass IP68. The Steez is more geared to finesse presentations in nature and worm and jig work. The MB IP 68 is more robust, solid feeling, powerful, higher line capacity, more drag and geared towards being a workhorse. These IP68 are Megabassed tuned version of the original Daiwa Zillion. They are proven, collectible, well built and can be easily modified if needed. The IP68 would be perfect for cranking, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, swim jigs, frogging, bigger top water, smaller swim baits. Just great solid reels.
