    Water clarity on St Clair

    Hey guys, anybody know the water clarity in the shallows?
    Lookin to go out for smallies in a week or so.

    Lots can change in a week. I've been out there with muddy water and watched it go almost gin clear by the end of the day. It flushes out quickly. Check and see your wind direction and avoid the Clinton River area where it's dumping in mud.

    I haven't been out yet due to trailer issues, but use this website and use the Lake Erie data set: MODIS - Coastwatch Great Lakes Node (noaa.gov)

    The lake flushes itself on average every seven days. What it’s like today will be nothing like it will be in a week. On 4/15 the mile roads were relatively clear within 1/2 mile of shore and then about a half mile or so swath of mud and then 4-5 ft vis after that.
