Mega 360 under 2018 nitro z21 factory cover

Just bought mega 360. Has anyone effectively fit their 2018 z21 factory cover over the transducer using the factory mount?

I see this big bassin quick release mount but was trying to avoid the extra $400.

I have a 2017 Z20 with 360. My factory cover doesn’t come down all the way like it used to below the rub rail. There’s about a 8” gap by the trolling motor. I would assume yours would be similar.

Thanks for the reply. I store my rig outside. Is the cover still able to keep water out of the boat?

I think it could still be efficient enough. There is that gap I mentioned so maybe bad rains and storms might allow a little in but I think for the most part it would be ok. I definitely wouldn’t travel with it on.
