    ANOTHER WIRE QUESTION

Let’s say I have 6awg wire from battery to fuse block and the block is 4’ from the unit. Is it best to run the power wire straight to the fuse block or run a 10awg and shorten the power wire to let’s say 1’?

if more power wire size was needed it would be a bigger gauge to the end of the wire so using some or all of it should not matter. the smallest gauge wire dictates the most amount of current it can carry whether 1" or 4' long

You'll be fine running the power wire directly to the fuse panel, no need to over complicate it.
