    FFS

Saw a fish on one of the tourneys that was weighed after being snagged. I have caught bass on a jerk where one hook came loose and second hook caught on outside near mouth. This was a 4+ caught behind dorsel fin . Is this legal or the new norm ?

I’d even go as high as 300%.

Completely legal. Soon all the pros will only be sponsored by oversized treble hook companies cause that's all they do is snag bass

Yea unless state regulations say other wise, 100% legal

Legal unless you consider FFS sight fishing.

I do not have FFS but I have hooked fish all over on a jerkbait. Lots of hooks flying around especially when a fish smashes it on a quick pause.

There’s just so much satisfaction you get from knowing that fish didn’t bite, but you hooked it’s little slimy ass and and landed it anyway.

I think calling FFS sight fishing is a stretch.

Wait until they come out with the 3-D screen imaging, so you'll be able to tell the X, Y and Z position of the fish in relation to your lure (or just a big ass weighted snagging treble hook).

I wish they would make the beam a little wider. Would be easier to stay on a fish that's moving around. Wouldn't have to move the trolling motor as much to stay on the fish.
    Hi Mike.

They do, it’s called Panoptics. Lowrance calls theirs LiveTarget.

    I've had Panoptics for years.

Doesn't make the beam any wider

perspective view for garmin gives a very wide view horizontally, but it is very narrow vertically.
