What is the hottest pepper you can comfortably eat?

For me it's probably gonna be in the 75,000-100,000 Scoville range. Thai chili is in that range.i can eat that level without any issue.

I like pepper to accentuate the flavor of food and not be the only flavor.

Jalepeno is about as hot as I want to eat straight. I will mix some other hotter peppers in stuff for more heat and flavor, but I don't want to eat them on their own.

I like Tabasco and it’s at 50,000…since the scale goes to 15,000 000, that makes me a wuss.

A green one. Maybe a yellow. But that is about it for me. My wife laughs as she munches on Jalapeno's.

I live in North Carolina, so in theory I can chow down on a Carolina Reaper.

I can eat hotter, but there’s not much I like better than pickled jalapeños.

I can eat some very hot sauces, chili and such but as for eating a raw pepper I do not care to take that heat. Tried a habanero once on a bet. Will never do that again.

I eat jalapeños like candy and like the flavor of habanero but they are to much for me to eat like a jalapeno. I cook with them often.

I used to work with a guy that could eat the hottest stuff know to man. He would get a jar of ghost pepper salsa and add Carolina reaper sauce to it to give it a good flavor he would say. He would sit and eat half the jar with chips like it was nothing. I also seen him eat 4 of the one chip challenge chips in one sitting and never break a sweat.

Eat a lot of habanero's in homemade salsa and homemade salt (popcorn) and reaper salt (popcorn also).

I don't like eating peppers by themselves but I do like them in different things, jalapeño, tobacco, chile are what I like.

Guilty of not paying attention, I was in the Jerkey Outlet in Foley a few years ago. They had free samples galore. I saw hickory smoked and picked up the biggest piece in the bowl. What I didn't see on a big sign behind it was these were different pepper flavors....and I'd picked up a Carolina Reaper piece of Jerky. I couldn't talk it was so hot. My son was laughing like crazy. I had no drink...was about to die.
