Random floater/stump/object just under the surface that I can't see.

I once hit a section a section of a dock out in the middle of Beaver Creek on Lake Cumberland when I was running about 50 mph. It was a cross between jumping a ramp and coming top a complete stop all at the same time. The small section of dock had broke lose from a marina and was flipped upside down. I suppose the plastic case that covers the Styrofoam floatation had a crack and became water logged. It was barley under the surface. I would push on it and try to sink it but it would rise back up. I finally attached a rope to it and towed it to the bank and tie it to a tree so no one else would hit it. Thankfully all I has was prop damage.

I was with someone else on a night fishing trip. We was running in the middle of the main lake and struck something. The next thing I know I'm in the floorboard and the driver is on top of me. We got out our lights and found chunks of wood but never found the actual log/limb/whatever we struck.

Hitting submerged log. I have done it several times running the river, not fun. Every year /every flood, new logs are delivered making it a beotch every time.

Coming around a sharp turn on Smith Mountian Lake I was the 3rd boat (2 OTHERS ALREADY STOPPED) that had to stop for a guy in a kayak in the middle of a narrow channel. Told the guy that was a dangerous place to be, he said don't worry, he'd be OK.
