It has been setting idle for about 18 months, I removed all of the fuel in the tank and replaced the fuel filter, then added fresh fuel. I started it and had a bad fuel smell. Found the VST was venting fuel overboard as fast as it was going in. Is there anything I can do to possibly remedy the issue before I remove it and go through it. Thank you!

Check float real good.
