As a kid, after watching cartoons (Looney Tunes and Pink Panther) on Saturday morning, Homer Circle and Bill Dance would air on one of the 3 available TV stations. I was glued to the TV. I can still sing Homer Circles’ “The Fisherman” theme song and Jerry Reed’s opening for Bill Dance. This was before BASS was on air, at least in my area. As a 10 to 13 year old I loved Homer Circle’s underwater filming and how Dance explained what he was doing. My Dad and Mom fly fished for pan fish so I learned bass fishing from these shows and Outdoor Life and Field and Stream. They are my favorites!

lol, you beat me to it. Gotta love their production value. No camera man, they just took turns holding the camera. And no sound! Just them sitting in the studio narrating. I remember them doing multiple shows where they fished the navigation channel catching white bass.

When I was young it was Virgil Ward because that was the only show available before cable.
When I got older I watched Honey Hole Magazine with I believe his name was Jerry Dean then later Bill Wilcox.

I remember watching Joe Krieger when I was a kid. Seems like he was always at Lake Oolagah. I had the impression that Oolagah was some sort of fishing paradise.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the

Loved watching the "BassMasters" on TNN and Jimmy Houston Outdoors. Spent so much money doing odd jobs as a teenager buying chart/blue SK spinnerbaits and never caught a single fish on them.

If you were like me many of them ended up melted in your tackle box.

Orlando had the best intro and song. Written by Tom T Hall and it featured him losing a big bass on the intro.

This!! ^^^^^^ I also remember ESPN's Sportsman's Challenge with Ron Franklin, Lonnie Stanley, Penny Berryman, and others. I think Tommy Sanders was on that show too.

Sorry about the misspell; took three pages for Secretary of Webster to catch, apologize to the Brainerd Boys!
Ditto, no one compares to these guys. And very multi-species oriented.
