I always liked the Pillbury Hungry Jack Buttermilk instant pancakes that are mixed with water. I like my pancakes thinner than the recipe calls for so the water makes it easier to do that. They all taste like butter and maple syrup in the end anyway.

If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

agree 100%. I mix in 2 mushed up, brown bananas, and some walnuts. Fry on griddle with a tablespoon of butter. (Keep griddle a little over 300 degrees). Crispy and fluffy. They taste great without syrup, but a dab of maple makes them even better

This is what we buy too. Use milk and egg to mix instead of water. Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good for store bought.

I am a pancake snob and this is the best one. I have not tried the Sam’s version listed because I am not a member and do not have one close by.

The syrup was quite good as well. We bought the mix and syrup in town when we bought our groceries for the week. About half-way through the week my brother mentioned that we should have gotten maple syrup, but then it was too late. We did get some to take home though

I just use bisquick but we were in Hawaii a while back and I had some buttermilk pancakes with macadamia nut vanilla sauce and they were awesome. I told the waiter and the chef came out and gave me the recipe for the sauce. I asked him about the pancakes and he said they just use Connaisseur mix. I need to try to order it but still haven’t done it.
Edit: I just looked it up and they’re based out of Canada, a 2 lb box ($15) would cost me $47 due to $32 shipping cost!
