    Is 125ah lithium enough power

To run a Solix 15, Solix 12, 126sv, LVS34, Mega 360 and livewell pumps all day with no problems?

Call Andy at Drewcraft and he will happily run you through the numbers. But the short answer is yes, it’s plenty. I run a 120ah cranking Monster from Drewcraft with 4 12’s and active target. I use a Power Pole Charge. I’ve never had the 120 below 60%. My run back to the ramp typically brings me back to near full charge. These lithiums are amazing.

I run a 125ah Ionic starting battery and run 2 Solix 12's, 1 Apex 13, mega live Targetlock, Mega 360, hydrowave and all other 12v power in the boat. I have had zero issues with having enough capacity. If I didn't run my big motor at all, I have roughly 9 hrs runtime at full draw. Generally, on a long 12 hr tourney practice day I am somewhere around 30% - 40% with an average amount of runtime on the big motor.

Yes it will run that for around 10 hours, depends a lot on if this will also be your cranking battery or a stand alone electronics battery.

feel free to call us if you would like to discuss in more detail

Thats what I've been running and no issues. Solix 12, solix 10, helix 10 and mega 360. Most tournament days I come back greater than 60%, but obviously depends on how much running you're doing.

It would be for starting as well. If it is going to be close I'll just add a 5th battery, was trying to avoid that if possible.

There are bigger ah than the 125 if you need more. Impulse makes a 160.

I’d suggest just trying the 125 before getting a second battery. One long day of fishing and you will have your answer.

if its also starting you will get a lot more time on it if you do very much running, most see a minimum of 50% unless sitting in one spot and running live wells all day
if you try 1 you will know right away using the app, we also offer other options for much larger cranking batteries if you want a single or you can also add a second in parallel later if needed

I run 2 Ionic 125’s in parallel. I have zero concern about power!

I have 2-12s, 2-9s, 2 livescopes, and during summer run recirc pumps constant for long northern tournament days with very little running. Lowest I've ever been with mine is around 30% percent. Most normal shorter days or days with some run time its well over 60%. Lots of idling or running and can be fully charged.

I found I was as running my 125ah lower than I felt comfortable with 30-40% after a day out 6-9 hrs. 2 livescope setups 4 106s, helix 9, powerpoles radio livewells what not I added a 50ah in parallel with the 125ah and have had 0 issues since may hit 45% on a long day but I do tend to sleep my console units when not using

I’d get two in parallel. I ran two ionic 125s on my last boat - running two 190s in parallel now. My Ionics I bought from Andy and he is great to work with.

I am considering adding a 50 in parallel just for the overkill factor.

    How would that work?

Does the bms of the 50 stop it taking charge and the charger keeps charging the larger battery?

If thats the case the 50ah would never get fully charged as it would never get to the end of the lithium profile on the charger.

it actually works very well, we have many customers running a 125ah and a 50ah in parallel , they charge equally , the charger just sees it as a 175ah battery and splits up the amps

Think of the total capacity in volts and percentages. In parallel, voltage equalizes and does so constantly through discharge and charge cycles. So the charging and discharging voltages are equivalent irregardless of battery size.

I have a 125 and run 2 106SVs up front, LVS32, 1 106SV at the console and Raptors. Fished an 8 hour tournament last year in the summer, had a fish in the box in the first half hour (so ran the livewells all day), milked the same general area all day and didn't fire up the big motor again until I ran back to the weigh in and ended the day at 65%. My livescope graph was sleeping most of the day because I was frog fishing but I did use the Raptors a lot.
